Lemon Lime Shave Cream

Love ♡ all of the shave butters from Basin and have been using them for years. However, as I have tried to move away from synthetic fragrances it was difficult to have my questions answered in the Disney Springs store about what was safe. I just read a lot of labels and finally found I could still use only this scent of shave cream. All the others contain fragrance and this contains essential oils. Would love ♡ to see more scents utilizing less synthetic fragrances and more essential oils. Also a section of the website dedicated to essential oils for those trying to stay away from synthetic fragrances would be really helpful.

Bought this in pink sugar 3 yrs ago & lasted a looong time. Didn’t use each time i shaved since i wanted to savor it (pricey) but smell stayed strong 2 years later. Just got the lime scent & like it even more than i thought i would. Not overly strong. And legs soft afterwards is a nice bonus.

Writing a review to help others in the future. To start, I love this product, but I find it awful on Basin’s part to raise the price from 18.99/8oz jar to 24.99/8oz jar as of Jan 19. Don’t be fooled and think they increased the size of the product because the 1.05lbs listed is shipping weight per jar. Incredibly disappointed and won’t be purchasing this product from them anymore.

I have used the lemon lime shave cream for about 7 years. It is my favorite but about every third jar I receive is not soft and creamy. Over time I have received two that were older products and the moisture had evaporated out leaving the product more lick spackling rather than creamy.

I had high hopes for this product after reading the other reviews and after the first use felt it did a good job. It did provide a close shave with little irritation, though lacking the lather found with other shaving products. The issue I had was after a few days I nothing this oily residue building up on my razor and shaving brush. Even after washing it would remain causing lint and hair shaving to remain stuck to the razor. After these few days, the rubber fins on my razor also started degrading and falling apart. I have been using this brand of blades for years and with my use they typically last 1-2 weeks and never did they degrade in this way.

Feels good and not as messy as foams or gels. Much easier to trim around bearded parts. Gives a good clean shave. The only negative is that it makes me crave Key Lime pie. The scent is awesome!

I have used this product since I discovered it at Basin at Mall of America, many years ago now. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this is s marvelous product in every way.

I have been using this shave cream for several years. Easy on the face. No razor burn. The only issue I had was, a couple jars two years ago had large air bubbles in them. They gave me a percentage off my next order. I highly recommend this product for a close shave.

My husband has very sensitive skin. He originally received this cream as a gift, so he tried it and is completely sold. His face is moisturized and soft, not to mention, he doesn't get any razor burn when shaving with this product. He is a faithful Basin user now!
